Northern Denim Co. Lot 3010 is the first line-up from the brand. This vintage Straight Leg jean features 13.5oz Old American Selvedge Denim woven with vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan. Don’t let the ounce weight fool you, the natural and rough denim fabric is 100% Memphis Cotton and the style a reproduction of fabric from the time when production was not as straight forward and steady as today’s mass production era. The pure indigo dye gives the jeans a deep blue, which will fade with wear, personalizing the jeans according to your lifestyle. The fading reflects your life on the surface of the jeans.
The hardware includes brass non-labeled vintage brass buttons and copper rivets. The vintage elements such as hidden rivets on back pockets, hidden coin pocket selvedge, chain stitched hem and unison sewn leather patch all reflect the throwback style of the jeans. Other special features include screen printed label on the pocket bag, a Northern Denim Co.’s “Husky Boy” leather patch and single color stitching across the jeans.
The fit for the jeans is vintage straight cut. A fit that stands in the middle ground between slim fit and more spacious straight cut jeans. Comfortable pair of jeans that’s not too baggy, ensuring the jeans are good to go regardless of wearing situation.
The Lot 3010 is available in sizes 28, 30, 32, 34 and 36. The jeans will stretch after wear but are intended to fit true to size. That is if you normally wear size 32, that would be the optimum fit. The jeans are sanforized, non-wash denim, which means the denim is pre-treated to avoid major shrinking, but still in rigid state and will shrink across the jeans to the dedicated size. Please note that the above wash/soak measurement guideline is based on expected measurements as a result of hot soaking (60 degrees Celsius) and tumble drying. For additional details on the measurements and to confirm your size, please contact taavi.kuisma@nordicdenimhouse.com. The unwashed jeans can shrink between 1 to 2 inches depending on soaking/washing method. Also note that tumble drying is generally not recommended for drying the jeans as the denim can shrink more than expected depending on the drying conditions.
